Rogue Storms are storms that according the National Weather Service are storms that aren't predicted. Rogue Storms vary in severity and can occur at any time. A text book example of a Rogue Storm would be the July 19th 2006 storm in St. Louis Missouri. The storm system that produced this Rogue Storm moved east across Iowa into northern Illinois before making a drastic turn south-south east towards St. Louis. The storm as it head southeast gained strength and became more compact as it hit St. Louis. The Rogue Storm knocked out power to nearly 550,000 residents. Storms like these are not reported as Rogue Storms and are commonly labeled as Outbreaks or Severe Storms.
